Two major events
Freinds,
I want to share with you all about the two major events that are going to happen next week,on the 21st and the 22nd of November,2009.
1.On the 21st,Saturday,it is planned to conduct a SAPTHASWARA DEVATHA YAGNA under the auspices of the Sabha -Rasika Fine Arts at Hindu Garodia High School,West Mambalam,Chennai. between 9 to 11 am.
The main aim of the Yagna is to invoke the blessings of the Sapthaswara Devathas to bless all the musicians , the organisers ,the audience ,the media people and the critiques who will be participating in the ensuing DECEMBER MUSIC SEASON which a unique festiva of its kind in the entire world.
2.I am happy to announce that my students who are residing in India have planned to celebrate my twenty five years of teaching music.
The IMPART-25 is going to happen at the premises of Padma Seshadri School,KK Nagar,Chennai on two days with continous concerts by students,on the 21st Nov(from 2 pm onwards) and on the 22nd(from 9 am to 9 pm)and a felicitation function on the 22nd morning -10 am..
I will be posting the invtitation in this blog soon.
I seek your prayers and wishes for these functions.
If you are a Chennaite ,please attend both the functions and make them purposeful and enjoyable.

My disciple Uma Money invites you all
We are conducting the Memorial Day celebrations for my late musician uncle
Sri. P.N. Raghava Rao (contemporary of Tanjavur Sankara Iyer and Ramnad Krishnan) on Oct. 30 (Friday) at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall, Mylapore, Chennai at 6 P.M. This was celebrated in a big way with a lot of press coverage at Raga Sudha Hall last November 2008.
This year Isai Peroli Neyveli R Santhanagopalan (who is also my Guru) will be the Chief Guest and Smt. Rama Ravi (also related to us) will be performing with vocal support from Nanditha Ravi accompanied by M.R. Gopinath on the Violin and Sherthalai Ananthakrishnan on the Mrudangam
I would like to extend a warm invitation to all of you on this occasion.
